An assignee responsible for handling a certain step of a document can be selected automatically. This tutorial will teach you how to create and modify rules that assign users to handle documents.
Assignment rules are currently only supported in accounts payable workflows.
Navigate to the Assignment rules page.
Create or edit a rule.
Configure the rule as explained in Assignment rules to dynamically assign each document to the correct user or group as it processes through the business flow.
Continue creating rules until you have covered your business cases.
Each rule will be activated immediately for each document that progresses to the next step in the business flow.
Each rule can be adapted in the future to fit your business process.
